Jamie Huntsberger, LMT, Board-Certified Structural Integrator

Jamie Huntsberger, LMT, Structural IntegratorJamie has been certified in KMI (Kinesis Myofascial Integration) since 2004 and board-certified since 2007. He studied Fundamentals of Somatic Practice at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado, and then finished his SI (Structural Integration) training in KMI*, in South Bristol, Maine. He continues to study Visceral Manipulation with Christof Sommer of Munich, Liz Gaggini, and others.

Before studying SI, Jamie spent twenty years in organic crop and livestock farming, horseshoeing and sheep-shearing, and served as the caretaker of a small privately owned island for seven years. His present career in alternative healthcare represents a return to his early academic training when he studied psych/bio at Colby College and then attended chiropractic college in Toronto. He spends his free time choral singing, Argentine Tango dancing, playing and working with his kids and family. He still farms a little.

* KMI is a school of SI founded by Tom Myers, one of Ida Rolf's students. Initially a slang term for structural integration, "Rolfing" has now become the registered service mark of the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration, one of several schools continuing the legacy of Ida Rolf's work and as such, is no longer used as a generic term when discussing SI.
