Devra Krassner, NDDevra KrassnerDr. Devra Krassner offers comprehensive naturopathic medicine to families, women, men and children. Treatment plans are individualized to address the full range of acute and chronic conditions, as well as to support people wishing to optimize their health.

After graduating from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 1987, Dr. Krassner returned to the east coast to practice. In addition to her practice, Dr. Krassner is an adjunct professor at Kaplan University, where she teaches in the Medical Assistant program. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Maine Association of Homeopaths, and past president of the Maine Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Dr. Krassner specializes in women's health, homeopathy, botanical (herbal) medicine, and medical nutrition and lifestyle counseling. She has a special interest in health care for women and children, and has expertise in the areas of hormonal balance, mood stabilization, and behavioral and attention disorders. Diagnostic techniques include standard physical and gynecological exams and laboratory testing. Dr. Krassner also uses functional medicine to assess and treat conditions such as food sensitivities, adrenal fatigue and digestive imbalances. Many of the people who Dr. Krassner sees just do not feel well, and have been unable to determine what is wrong with them or what can be done to help. She focuses on the underlying causes of problems rather than simply treating the symptoms.

Dr. Krassner is committed to sharing information with people, thereby empowering them to have more control over their health care and their lives. She is excited to be part of an integrative health center, working collaboratively with other health care practitioners to provide optimal service to those who seek her care.
